 Our FAQ section is designed to answer the most common questions about our mobile IV therapy services, from how treatments work to what you can expect during a visit. Explore these answers to better understand our process, our standards of care, and how we bring hospital quality treatment directly to your home.

Your safety comes first. We follow strict clinical protocols, use sterile single-use equipment, and complete a health screening before treatment. IV therapy is not suitable for everyone—our clinicians assess your eligibility.

IV In Motion is founded and run by health professionals. Your treatment is provided by qualified doctors and nurses, with clinical oversight and patient comfort as priorities.

We review any medical history on the Pre-Consultation form, check vital signs where appropriate, obtain informed consent, insert the IV cannula, monitor you during the infusion, and provide aftercare instructions before we leave.

You may feel a brief pinch when the cannula is inserted. Our clinicians are experienced and prioritise comfort. If you’re needle-anxious, tell us – we could apply local anaesthetic cream (Emla) before inserting the drip and/or we’ll take it slowly and support you through.

Many clients feel benefits the same day, while others notice a more gradual improvement over 24 – 72 hours. Duration varies depending on your hydration status, baseline nutrient status, lifestyle, and the drip selected.

In most cases, yes. If you’re feeling unwell (e.g. severe hangover symptoms) we may recommend rest. If any medication is included, your clinician will advise you appropriately.

Frequency depends on your goals, baseline health, and the type of drip. Your clinician can recommend an appropriate schedule—especially if you want regular wellness.

A clean, comfortable space to sit or lie down, good lighting, and access to a sink/handwashing area if possible. We bring all medical equipment.
